It is very easy to set the Config Keyword in Telegram Signal Copier.

Let’s see how to set up the Telegram Signal Copier.

First, open your Telegram Signal Copier, and according to your subscription plan, add your mt4/5/c-trader account.

Then, select a channel.

After selecting, you will see this kind of window pop up on your screen. It’s called Config Keyword.

There are three sections- Signal Keyword, Update Keyword and Additional Keyword.

Note: Separate configuration settings are required for each individual channel.

Get a signal and set up the copier like signal format:

Signal Keyword:

Entry Point:

You can easily customize it by adding the word which your telegram signal providers use for the entry price. You need to input the keyword that you will find before the entry price in the signal.

In our case, the keyword “OPEN@” represents the entry price as specified by our provider. Therefore, we include “OPEN@” in the Entry Point field. However, if your provider uses the default keywords “BUY” or “SELL” for the entry price, there is no need to add them separately as they are already understood.

Tips: Do the same process for every section of config keywords.

BUY:

In this settings option, you can add words that are related to BUY that your telegram signal provider uses. The general command “BUY” is set by default so you don’t have to add this word.

SELL:

In this settings option, you can add words that are related to SELL and your telegram signal provider uses. The command for “SELL” is set by default so you don’t have to add this word.

For example: if your signal provider uses the word LONG for buying and SHORT for selling, you’ll need to add LONG and SHORT in the settings BUY/SELL box. So, watch out for the words which your telegram signal provider uses for BUY and SELL and add them here in copier settings.

Stop Loss:

The same goes for here! Find out what format your telegram signal providers use for Stop loss and set them up accordingly. The word SL is set by default, so you don’t need to set this separately.

Take Profit:

Check out what format your telegram signal providers use for Take Profit and set them up accordingly. The TP is set by default, so you don’t need to set this separately.

For example: If our signal provider utilizes “STOP LOSS” or “STOP-LOSS” to refer to the stop loss (SL), we will need to include these words in the Stop Loss Box within the Config Keyword window. In our specific case, since our provider sends the term “STOP LOSS” we have added it to the stop loss input.

if Your signal provider could be using TP1,TP2,TP3,TP4 to mean TP. In such cases, you’ll have to add those words into the Take Profit Box in the Config Keyword window.

Update Keyword:

Close TP1/TP2/TP3/TP4:

Many traders prefer to close TP1, TP2, TP3 etc. separately rather than closing the full trade at once. To do so, traders need to config this option. Suppose your provider commands TP HIT 1 for closing TP1, you need to input the TP HIT 1 in the Close TP1 section.

Close Full/Half/Partial:

Sometimes, you will see that some telegram signal providers use close full/half/partial to secure the profit. But the words and the format could be different in different channels. For example, it could be Fully Close. Similarly, different words and formats could be for close half and partial.

In such cases, you will need to check the word that your signal providers use for CLOSE FULL/CLOSE HALF/CLOSE PARTIAL and add exactly those words in these boxes of config keyword. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Break Even/SET TPs Separately:

  • Break Even/BE: In trading, adjust the stop loss level to the entry price once a trade has moved in a profitable direction. This protects the trader’s capital by eliminating the risk of loss and turns the trade into a risk-free scenario where the worst outcome is breaking even with no profit or loss. Enter the keywords which are used by your telegram signal provider for breakeven in the box.
  • Set TP 1/2/3/4/5: “Set TP” is the term your signal provider uses to change or modify the previous TP price. Enter the keywords which are used by your telegram signal provider for SET TP in the box.

Set TP: “Set TP” is the term your signal provider uses to change or modify the previous TP price. Enter the keywords which are used by your telegram signal provider for SET TP in the box.

Set SL: “Set SL” is the term your signal provider uses to change or modify the previous SL price. Enter the keywords which are used by your telegram signal provider for SET SL in the box.

You’ll need to find out what keywords your providers use for SET SL/TP. It is mandatory because many telegram signal providers send the SL and TP range after providing the signal. So, make sure that you have set the keywords up in your copier settings.

Delete:

This is very interesting option you will find in the copier settings. Sometimes, you will see that your telegram signal provider has sent a signal of a pending order, and the telegram signal copier copies the pending order to your mt4/5/C-Trader accounts. But what if your signal provider decides to cancel the pending order? How would you DELETE the order?

Simple! Just find out what keyword and format your signal provider uses to cancel the pending order. Enter those exact keywords and format them into the Delete box. Then, the copier will automatically delete the order when your signal provider commands you to delete the pending order.

Note: The commands need to be sent as a reply message of the original message.

Additional Keyword:

LAYER:

If your signal provider sends a reply to a past signal as a new entry, this option will help you. You will need to set the word they use for such actions/ signals in the settings box. If your signal provider sends it like “Re-Entry” then you have to add this.

Close All:

Close all functions when your signal provider sends updates to close all running trades.

Delete All:

Delete All functions when your signal provider sends updates to delete all pending orders.

Ignore Keyword:

Now, about the Ignore Keywords! If you don’t want to follow a particular command from the provider, you can ignore simply by adding the keyword he uses in the message. For example, if you don’t want to close on close command of your provider, you can add the CLOSE word in the config settings (if your provider uses CLOSE word in the message).

Skip Keyword:

There are many providers who send multiple commands in one reply message of the main signal and some traders prefer to take just one command from the reply message and want to skip the other one. Again, some prefer to skip the SL or TP in the signal as well. To do so, you just need to input the word associated with the command that you want to skip.

Market Order:

In this input, you just have to add the specific keyword that your provider uses for the market order

As you can see the signal provider uses the NOW keyword for the market order, but the price is not a market price. So, you just have to add the NOW keyword on the Market Order input to make this signal market execution

Remove SL:

If you want to remove SL from a trade, you can use this option. Just input the keyword that your provider uses to remove the SL from the trade. This option will work when the command comes as a reply message of the original message.

Delay in Msec:

There are many prop traders who don’t want to take the same entry price of their signal providers. They want to take different or delay entry from their providers. To do so, all you need to add the delay time in milliseconds.

Prefer Entry:

With this option, you can determine the entry price from your signal provider (first or second) based on their specified range. If you want to take second price, you need to input 1 in the option. But, if you don’t want to take the second price, keep it blank.

Last, of all, don’t forget to click on Save Configurations!
